First Fall Training to be held August 28

We will begin Fall Tuesday/Thursday training at Squirrel Ridge Park starting August 28 at 6:30 PM.

Are you looking to try a new sport? Are you a rugby player looking for a new club?

Join us for our pre-season, 4 weeks of 8 training sessions, to be followed by your first home match with our club. Stay until your first match then decide if rugby is right for you. Please bring a water bottle to training and cleats if you have them.

High School Rugby

We are starting a high school rugby club here in Gainesville! Our fall plan will be to play touch rugby on Sundays at noon at Squirrel Ridge Park. We will then look to play competitive 7s rugby and eventually 15s rugby. We will eventually be competing within the Florida Youth Rugby Union, please see website for more details on competition.

Training Location Update

For the remainder of Spring, Tuesday night trainings will be at Squirrel Ridge Park from 6pm-8pm. Thursday night trainings will still be at Hal Brady from 8pm-10pm.

**Tuesday April 17th will now be at Squirrel Ridge.**

Spring Season Kicks Off

We will resume training on Jan 9 at Hal Brady Sports Complex in Alachua!! Practice starts at 8PM. New recruits are always welcome! Training will be on Tues/Thurs throughout the Spring season.

Touch Rugby for the Summer

We will be playing touch rugby on Tuesday/Thursday nights at Squirrel Ridge Park at 7 PM weather permitting through late July or unless posted. We will cancel if there is heavy rain or lightning. All are welcome to join us.

Hogs Win State Championship

On Saturday April 22, the Gainesville Hogs defeated the Sarasota Surge for the state title, 43 to 19. The team will advance to the South Regional Championships, the winner of which advances to the USA National Playoffs. The regional event will be held in Ormond Beach May 6 & 7.
